Bushcraft Courses are the ideal way of making friends and sharing similiar interests with other people,

Our Bushcraft School is based in Ayrshire, Scotland, We own our own woods, so when on your outdoor bushcraft course there will not be anyone else involved except belonging to our school, Our woods are totally private away from main roads, parks etc,

Our 3 Day Weekend Bushcraft Course will give you an experience you will never forget, When you leave us you will leave feeling tired but you will have accomplished something,

You will be able to cope in a bad situation and will be able to keep your head and know what to do, At least that is what we strive to learn you,

At Survival Outdoors we believe in a hands on approach so while you are with us you will be learning and doing all the activities in our Bushcraft Course Content not like some other schools where some of the techniques are explained only,

You will learn how to make fire from water, fire by friction, air etc, how to trap and snare an animal, how to prepare the meat and how to cook the meat, (no animals will be killed during this course, for humane reasons, they are supplied by local gamedealers),

What to do if you lose your compass or your batteries go down in your gps, the list goes on and on,

A question we get asked a lot is Do We Stay Out At Night, Yes you do, That is one of the reasons you are here for,

You will learn to make your own shelter and then experience for yourself sleeping out in it, You never know one day you might be thankful for this experience,

We are not a Boot Camp or a SAS Training camp, We like to teach you in a relaxed atmosphere, We go at a slow pace so everyone can take in what is being taught,

We also do not hike for miles and miles, anyone can do that on any day, You are here to learn skills that could save your life or someones elses,

The 3 Day Weekend Bushcraft Course is by far the most popular bushcraft course of all our Courses, It covers the same content as the 2 Day Bushcraft Course as well as a lot more, Also it is a lot more in depth, Our Instructors will show, explain and then get you to do the things for yourself,

The Instructors are there to make sure you get the activities right, And don't worry if you don't succeed the first time, we have patience and we expect you to learn through practice,

A 3 Day Survival weekend course starts on a Friday at 11.00 am and finishes approx on the Sunday 4.00 pm

Mid week courses obviously starts and finishes at different times
